CoolSculpting® Elite is the most advanced CoolSculpting® technology on the market. Dual applicators allow us to treat more areas of stubborn fat in less time. CoolSculpting® uses a process called cryolipolysis. During this process, controlled cooling is used to freeze targeted fat cells without harming the surrounding tissue. This process crystalizes and therefore disables those targeted fat cells, and they are eliminated by your body’s natural waste removal process.

And the best part? You shouldn’t have to wait long to start seeing results. Most people are able to see an improvement in their body shape within two to three weeks after CoolSculpting®. Am I a good candidate for the CoolSculpting® Elite procedure?

Most patients who are appropriate candidates for CoolSculpting® Elite have average body mass index, or BMI, and are seeking methods of treatment that do not involve surgery. Most patients have a specific area of the body that is not responding to traditional fat loss methods that they want to target. It is important for patients to understand that CoolSculpting® Elite is not a weight reduction treatment, but rather a body contouring solution.

How much does the CoolSculpting® Elite procedure cost?

The cost of CoolSculpting® Elite treatments will vary from patient to patient. This is because the treatment needs to be tailored to each individual. The area being treated, the size of the area being treated, and the number of treatment sessions required will all affect the overall cost of treatment. To narrow down a specific cost, it is essential that patients book a consultation appointment with Elizabeth Rodriguez to be evaluated and learn more about the specifics of treatment.

How long is each treatment?

Most treatment sessions are under 30 minutes, but this will vary, depending on the area the patient is having treated.

How many treatments will I need?

Patients may need several treatments to achieve their desired results. It is important that patients consult with their doctor to get a general idea of how many treatments will be needed to achieve the results they desire. Patients should also have realistic expectations of the results they can achieve with this and other body contouring solutions available in our practice. We encourage patients to work with Elizabeth Rodriguez during their consultation appointment to decide how many sessions may be needed so patients have a better idea of the overall cost and expectations of this and other services available at Beer Dermatology.

What does a CoolSculpting® Elite treatment feel like?

As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you typically feel intense cold. This soon dissipates. With some applicators, you’ll feel some pulling as suction is applied. The area generally goes numb within 5 to 10 minutes during treatment. Many people read, watch videos, work on their laptop, or even take a nap during their CoolSculpting® Elite treatment. After the treatment, you may feel some tingling as the area is massaged for 2 or 3 minutes. Patients are usually able to return to normal activities following their appointment.

Are there any side effects?

Patients who undergo CoolSculpting® Elite may find that they experience a few side effects following their treatments. This may include redness, tenderness, and bruising at the treatment site. However, these are relatively short term and do not affect their ability to return to daily activities. The side effects and risks of CoolSculpting® Elite are much less than that of surgical treatments such as liposuction or tummy tucks.

When will I see results?

Because cryolipolysis requires the body to naturally flush the frozen fat cells through the lymphatic system, the results of CoolSculpting® Elite can take some time. Immediate results are not achieved. Instead, the results develop over the course of several weeks. Patients will notice their body “shrinking” over several months with each treatment they receive. Since the results are gradual, patients can achieve better body contours and proper fat reduction without having gone through plastic surgery to do so!

Is there any downtime after CoolSculpting® Elite?

There is little to no downtime after the CoolSculpting® Elite treatment. One of the reasons our patients love CoolSculpting® Elite is because it does not require them to take days or weeks off work and special activities to recover from their procedure. CoolSculpting® Elite is done right in our office and allows patients to get back to their day with little interruption. Elizabeth Rodriguez finds that patients get right back to work, school, and exercise without having to take off for recovery. Are CoolSculpting® Elite results permanent?

With CoolSculpting® Elite, the results are lasting, as fat cells are never replaced by the body.
